Hi! I'm Cordes!

Teacher-turned-Entrepreneur

Why is a teacher turned entrepreneur the best choice to help you find flow and ease in your business?

  • The act of teaching and leading close to 200 new, usually reluctant, souls every year. Teaching experience showed me how to deal with an impossible workload, strategic planning and leading teams of people.  Read all about the specific skills from teaching that I use to help business owners.
  • My desire to learn. I love studying, analyzing, and figuring out the best path forward. I have worked on systems improvement everywhere I have been. From developing a leaders guide for a camp I directed in high school, to setting up my local PTSO and boy scout troop with digital communications systems to manage information and communication with volunteers and members. I curate information and best practices for business owners so you don’t have to spend the hours each week figuring out what your business needs.
  • My understanding of brain science. Having spent over 3 decades obsessing over how people learn, I have a profound understanding of how to implement real change. Any ‘expert’ can tell you the best way to do things, but the real goal is actually doing them. I understand how people learn and adapt to change. Peter Block says all teachers are consultants and the best consultants focus on helping you implement change.

I help small business owners eliminate the chaos and create systems that flow, so you can focus on what you love and growing your business. Like many entrepreneurs, I started my business seeking more impact, control, and freedom, only to find myself overwhelmed by backend systems. It was through this experience, coupled with my years of managing complex workloads and designing effective learning systems as an educator – where clear planning and efficient routines were essential – that I discovered my passion for helping other small business owners streamline their operations with simple, practical solutions. My experience in breaking down complex topics into manageable steps translates directly to helping you simplify your business processes.

I developed a framework called Flow to help business owners reach their optimal state, the sweet spot where you unlock your full potential and thrive. Achieving this Flow requires attention to four key pillars: Focus, ensuring you're strategically directing your time and energy; Love (or Relationships), fostering positive connections and easing interactions; Operations, establishing efficient systems and workflows; and Wellbeing, protecting your mental and physical health to sustain your energy and creativity.

While all aspects of Flow are interconnected, my courses, coaching and consulting place a significant emphasis on Operations. I help you set up practical and effective systems that simplify your daily work, such as creating project management flows in ClickUp or Notion to keep your projects on track, implementing strategies for revenue management, establishing content organization with scheduling tools, and gaining clarity on your financial performance. By implementing these smooth operations, you'll save valuable time (imagine saving up to 10 hours per week on email!), reduce stress, and gain the clarity needed to focus on your core strengths and strategic growth. My focus is on creating simple, yet effective systems that don't require a huge learning curve. My approach is practical and results-oriented, focusing on the tools and strategies that will have the biggest impact on your day-to-day operations.

I believe we all play a part in making the world a better place by living into our potential, and I'm passionate about helping you eliminate those daily friction points so you can truly flourish and build the business you envisioned.
